Ashnee Maharaj is an academically bright and bubbly Chartered Accountant (SA) and a Fellow of the Institute of Directors, with 16 years of experience in many sectors.
Ashnee has been a leader and an executive who develops and implements company strategy while inspiring and empowering teams, collaborating with other executives and stakeholders and influencing decisions successfully.
She has held Executive positions in boutique firms in the Private Equity industry and South Africa's central securities depository to large listed corporates such as Investec, Nedbank, Absa Capital, Investec, Standard Bank and Momentum Asset Management.
Throughout this demanding yet enriching journey catapulting herself, Ashnee created and led high performing teams with her exceptionally versatile, unorthodox style to achieve company strategy and goals.
Ashnee has thrived in her personal and professional paradigms. In addition to her many CFO roles, she extended her frontiers of knowledge into the people space as Head of Human Capital and Transformation. Driven by her passion for learning and empowering and understanding human behaviour, she graduated as a Professional Coach at GIBS and honed her coaching skills with many fascinated, grateful execs and senior managers.
